Birders are an "odd lot."

We spend hours wandering the wilds with binoculars strung from the neck and day-packs filled with books.

Maybe it's the way we dress for comfort and practicality that has most people avoid speaking to us about our "hobby"--except other birders. Then, the enthusiastic conversation usually switches to birds with all the dates and locations attached. The term "life list" usually comes up and with it comparisons of species seen and places visited.

As a proud part of that odd lot, the folks at the Birders Bag® have produced a unique series of hat/lapel pins
just for birding enthusiasts like us.

LifeList® Pins help identify the individual's number of life sightings--first-time views of North American species.
The pins
start at 25 (Northern Cardinal) for the beginning birder to 700 (Short-tailed Albatross) for the major enthusiast. (An 800 pin is in the works). HOTSpot!® pins identify recognized birding hot spots--places where great bird sightings usually are discovered!

For the retailer, Birders Bag® pins are often displayed as point-of-purchase buys. You will also be pleased to add them to your catalog list or pair them with field guides and optics for a complete birding package.

Clubs and organizations use Birder's Bag® pins as awards or incentives. But most birders simply collect them for display on their favorite hat or jacket. Take a look at the latest collection of LifeList® and HOTSpot!® pins or let us design one for you.

We like to think of Birders Bag® pins as "necessaries for the sport.°"
